Overview

Advantage Technology, LLC is seeking an experienced Telecom / Networking Project Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle of customer projects involving network infrastructure and structured cabling. This role is critical in ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and with thorough documentation. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with customers, internal teams, and vendors to drive project success and facilitate communication throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of telecom, networking, cabling, and infrastructure projects
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers
  • Communicate project updates, timelines, risks, and delays to stakeholders
  • Coordinate internal resources, field technicians, vendors, and other project stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve project risks and issues proactively
  • Ensure timely procurement and tracking of equipment and materials
  • Oversee pre-deployment preparation and staging of project materials
  • Maintain accurate project updates in the company CRM system
  • Collect post-installation documentation for project closeout and invoicing

Required skills

  • 3-5+ years of project management experience in telecom, networking, or IT infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of networking equipment like routers and switches
  • Experience with coordination of technical deployments
  • Proficiency in CRM or project management systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred PMP, CAPM, or similar certification
  • Familiarity with ConnectWise or Microsoft Project
