Job Description

Overview

The H&K Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Structures Division in Douglassville, Pennsylvania. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating activities for public and private construction projects to align with specified time and funding goals. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented team players skilled in creative problem-solving.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all work according to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Maintain project progress information and cost data for analysis
  • Create and update project schedules monthly
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and purchasing for material requisition
  • Process change orders and provide modifications
  • Visit project sites weekly to ensure quality and troubleshoot issues
  • Prepare project AIA Billing requisitions
  • Maintain project files including submittals and shop drawings
  • Conduct project meetings and assist with new project transitions
  • Report on gross margin improvement strategies to top management

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or relevant field
  • Five years of experience in Heavy Civil Construction
  • Driver's license and clean driving record
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and specialized project software
  • Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE
  • Ability to meet physical requirements related to the job
