Overview

SHD Composite Materials Inc. is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee various building and manufacturing projects in Mooresville, North Carolina. This on-site role requires effective coordination of resources, schedules, and communication among teams to ensure project completion on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and managing manufacturing projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate project activities and ensure timelines are met.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage project documentation, including reports and schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Facilitate successful project delivery for multiple projects.
  • Assist in resource allocation and ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and issues.
  • Support budget management and track project expenses.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues and challenges.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure action items are followed up.

Required skills

  • 5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with composite materials is a plus.
