Overview

SHD Composite Materials Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee various building and manufacturing projects at their Mooresville, NC location. This role will involve coordinating resources, schedules, and communication among teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and managing manufacturing projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure all timelines are met.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables, adhering to deadlines.
  • Manage project documentation, including reports and meeting notes.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Facilitate project delivery for multiple projects with internal and external resources.
  • Support budget management and monitor project expenses.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and issues.
  • Help facilitate project meetings and ensure follow-up on action items.

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience managing projects in a manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead all phases of a project
  • Experience with composite materials is a plus
  • Ability to negotiate pricing and planning
