Job Description

Overview

CMTS LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support aviation, transportation, and public infrastructure capital improvement projects, primarily at Philadelphia International Airport. The role involves leading projects from planning through construction and ensuring alignment with client expectations, budget constraints, and operational requirements in a collaborative work culture that emphasizes safety and accountability.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage aviation and public infrastructure capital improvement projects from planning through closeout
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies
  • Coordinate activities with airport operations personnel and regulatory agencies
  • Monitor project performance related to scope, schedule, budget, and quality
  • Review and manage project documentation including RFIs and change orders
  • Lead project meetings and prepare status reports and presentations
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Support quality assurance and control efforts throughout the project lifecycle
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development efforts

Required skills

  • 15 years of project management experience in aviation, transportation, or public sector projects
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and risk management
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of construction processes and project delivery methods
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Primavera P6 and Procore
  • PMP, CCM certifications preferred; OSHA 30 certification preferred
