Overview

The Project Manager I at Landmark Construction oversees and coordinates large construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet specified quality standards. This role involves managing all project aspects including cost control, scheduling, and subcontractor relations, while maintaining good relationships with various internal departments.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise the execution of construction projects
  • Manage cost control, schedule management, and document control
  • Ensure daily project functions are completed without errors
  • Examine construction documents for completeness and potential issues
  • Communicate project status and financials to field and management teams
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and necessary tools
  • Procure materials and tools according to the work schedule
  • Control project costs and oversee financial documentation
  • Review and process payment applications to subcontractors
  • Prepare project status reports and documentation
  • Coordinate final project acceptances and punch-out processes
  • Mentor and develop project management team members
  • Ensure proper project turnover to Operations
  • Attend scheduled meetings as required

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience in residential and mixed-use building construction
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred
  • 3+ years of direct supervisory experience
  • Experience with scheduling and job cost software (e.g., Primavera/P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, Prolog)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and financial reports
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
