Overview

WEG Transformers USA is seeking a Project Leader for Sales & Marketing to join their team in Washington, Missouri. The role involves managing customer orders, ensuring contract fulfillment, and coordinating with various departments within the company to meet customer needs. This position is critical for maintaining WEG's commitment to quality and efficiency as they expand their manufacturing capabilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Assume customer contact at order time and ensure contract fulfillment
  • Coordinate with Production Scheduling Department to manage order lead times
  • Handle inquiries related to orders, including technical coordination with Engineering
  • Ensure compliance with inspection and design review requirements in contracts
  • Complete order files with necessary correspondence
  • Finalize discussions on change orders or penalties
  • Ensure all payments have been collected
  • Support customer visits and conduct Plant Tours
  • Represent WEG at presentations and client events

Required skills

  • Project management experience
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Washington, Missouri
  • Current work authorization for employment in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering/technology (preferred)
  • Experience with SAP (preferred)
  • Spanish language proficiency (preferred)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
