Overview

As a Project Housekeeper (PER DIEM) at Masonicare in Shelton, CT, you will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain safe and clean environments for residents, offices, and public areas. This role involves leading a cleaning crew on assigned projects and carrying out regular housekeeping duties when project work is not assigned.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform general and project cleaning tasks to ensure environmental safety and cleanliness
  • Maintain departmental policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Lead cleaning crew on assigned projects
  • Empty trash, biomedical waste, and recyclables, transporting them to collection sites
  • Strip and refinish floors, extract carpets, and perform floor care
  • Complete work orders in a timely manner
  • Move and relocate furniture and equipment as directed
  • Set up for meetings and special programs
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff
  • Understand and follow safety and universal precautions
