Overview

Liburdi Dimetrics Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer/Project Manager with a strong technical background in custom machine design, manufacturing, and testing. This role involves planning, executing, and completing projects while managing scope, cost, and schedule, requiring excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Review contracts to define project scope, deliverables, and schedule
  • Lead and coordinate project staff to meet project milestones
  • Develop positive working relationships with customers and communicate project status
  • Coordinate with the Welding Engineer and Quality Assurance Manager for project documentation
  • Communicate all quality requirements to project stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Site Superintendent/General Foreman
  • Initiate and/or approve project purchases
  • Provide accounting documentation and cash flow forecasts

Required skills

  • Engineering Bachelor's Degree or Engineering Technology Diploma
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant project engineering/project management experience
  • Mechanical, welding or metal fabrication work experience (asset)
  • Trades or staff management experience (asset)
  • Strong ability to lead teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and project management tools
