Overview

J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer or Project Designer (Engineer-in-Training) for its Aviation Services Group in Spokane, Washington. This position offers an enriching environment for individuals interested in civil design and construction inspection within the airport engineering field, allowing for collaboration with experienced engineers and a chance to contribute to various aviation infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, design, and implementation of aviation infrastructure designs
  • Participate in all phases of project design and construction
  • Analyze engineering data and prepare technical reports and documents
  • Develop designs and layouts using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Collaborate with other engineers and public agencies on projects
  • Provide on-site oversight of construction projects
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections and progress reports
  • Travel to construction sites as required
  • Attend public meetings to discuss project details

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 3-6 years of experience in civil design or construction inspection
  • EIT certification required
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • CAD experience is a plus
