Job Description

Overview

Sentara Health is seeking a Project Coordinator for their Supply Chain department in Harrisonburg, Virginia. This fully onsite position supports project managers and teams by coordinating schedules, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to ensure projects are executed efficiently and within scope.

Key responsibilities

  • Support project planning, executing, and monitoring activities
  • Track timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including charters, budgets, and schedules
  • Manage lower-complexity projects autonomously
  • Act as the primary contact for project status communication
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes
  • Facilitate cross-departmental communication to resolve issues
  • Support budget tracking and vendor coordination
  • Monitor risks and assist in mitigation strategies
  • Prepare status reports and analyze performance data

Required skills

  • 1+ years of experience in project coordination or administrative support
  • High School / GED required
  • Project Management certifications preferred: CAPM, PMP, ACP
  • Experience with PAR Excellence preferred
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Familiarity with ambulatory, hospital, post-acute care, or technical project management
