Overview

Progressive Roofing is seeking a Roofing Estimator in Duncanville, Texas, to join their growing team. This role involves providing high-quality estimates for a variety of commercial roofing projects and requires a hands-on individual who is willing to learn or has experience in the commercial roofing sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze blueprints and proposals to prepare material and labor requirement quotes.
  • Compute cost factors and prepare estimates for management purposes.
  • Consult with subcontractors and vendors to discuss estimates and resolve issues.
  • Work with Project Managers and Management on bid preparation and evaluation.
  • Organize and manage a cost estimating database.
  • Identify cost trends for management in cost reduction processes.
  • Estimate change order prices on existing contracts.
  • Attend pre-construction and bid meetings.
  • Maintain rapport with property managers and contractors.
