Job Description

Overview

As a Progressive Care RN at Doctors Hospital of Augusta, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with a dedicated medical team. Your expertise in nursing will help shape patient outcomes and promote excellence in the nursing profession.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess patients' conditions during admission and shifts, reporting changes in status
  • Perform medical procedures and functions as ordered by medical providers
  • Document care administration thoroughly and timely in medical records
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for therapeutic responses
  • Anticipate and respond to patient requests and needs
  • Educate patients and families on medical conditions and treatment plans

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • At least 6 months of nursing experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment
