Overview

As a Progressive Care Nurse at Doctors Hospital of Augusta, you will be integral in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with medical teams and advocating for patient needs. This role empowers you to influence patient care positively and shape the future of nursing within the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, identifying and reporting changes in status.
  • Perform procedures and ensure thorough documentation of care.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic responses.
  • Provide exceptional care by anticipating and responding to patient needs.
  • Educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatment plans.

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse (RN) certification
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Experience in patient care and medical documentation
