Job Description

Overview

MillerKnoll is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to design, develop, enhance, and support manufacturing and ERP systems, particularly focusing on JDE World and plant-level operations. This role is critical for addressing day-to-day production needs and driving strategic transformation initiatives within various operational teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and support software solutions for manufacturing, plant operations, and supply chain processes.
  • Provide technical support and enhancements for JDE World, including inventory and order processing.
  • Maintain and optimize custom JDE World programs, reports, and interfaces.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs and production-ready code.
  • Analyze current manufacturing processes and design solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues impacting JDE World transactions and manufacturing execution.
  • Support ERP upgrades and modernization initiatives.
  • Participate in testing activities including unit and user acceptance testing.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and support materials.
  • Mentor junior analysts and developers and conduct code reviews.

Required skills

  • Experience supporting JDE World in a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on programming experience in ERP and manufacturing systems.
  • Proficiency in developing JDE World reports and batch processes.
  • Understanding of manufacturing business processes, including production and inventory management.
  • Experience with ERP transactional data and production data.
  • Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Typically 7+ years of experience as a Programmer Analyst or Systems Analyst.
