Job Description

Overview

Alliance Adult Care Services is looking for a Program Specialist in the Murrysville/Monroeville area. This role involves overseeing licensed residential habilitation services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across multiple homes. The Program Specialist will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, support individual progress through personal support plans, and supervise direct support professionals.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee residential programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Monitor service delivery and ensure fulfillment of Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
  • Advocate for the rights and well-being of individuals supported
  • Supervise, coach, and guide Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and program reviews
  • Maintain effective communication with community and human service systems

Required skills

  • Master's degree and 1 year of experience or Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience or Associate's degree with 4 yea
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting individuals with IDD
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Strong working knowledge of PA Chapter 6400 and 6100 regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required PA clearances
