Overview

The Program Specialist at Alliance Adult Care Services (AACS) is responsible for overseeing the delivery of licensed residential habilitation services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Based in the Murrysville/Monroeville area, this full-time position involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinating Individual Support Plans (ISPs), and providing supervision to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee compliance with 55 Pa. Code Chapter 6400, Chapter 6100, and agency policies.
  • Monitor service delivery and ensure adherence to Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
  • Advocate for individuals supported and maintain person-centered practices.
  • Supervise and train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
  • Conduct regular meetings and program reviews.
  • Ensure effective communication within the team and the community.

Required skills

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in relevant field with experience in developmental disabilities
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of PA Chapter 6400 and 6100 regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and on-call rotation
