Overview

The Program Manager for Nursing Academic Affiliations at Endeavor Health is responsible for coordinating and facilitating clinical experiences for nursing students at various Endeavor Health locations. This leadership role involves maintaining relationships with academic partners, overseeing student placements, and promoting professional development within nursing education.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison to School of Nursing partners.
  • Coordinate regular communication with academic partners.
  • Oversee placement of nursing students in clinical experiences.
  • Review applications from nursing students seeking clinical placement.
  • Maintain records of nurse applicants and evaluate data on placements.
  • Oversee Master Affiliation Agreements and Program Memorandums.
  • Guide students in project implementation at Endeavor Health.
  • Identify and participate in evidence-based nursing research projects.
  • Mentor others in nursing research initiatives.

Required skills

  • Master's Degree in nursing required; Doctorate in Nursing Practice desirable.
  • Current Professional Nursing Licensure in Illinois.
  • Certification in nursing specialty required within one year if not currently certified.
  • At least five years of experience in nursing promotion organizations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of data management.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
