Overview

The Program Manager for Neonatal Services at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital is responsible for developing and leading nursing neonatal initiatives in San Antonio, Texas. This role works in collaboration with the Neonatal Medical Director and regional clinical leaders to implement clinical strategies, improve operational standards, and enhance patient care performance across the region.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee nursing neonatal initiatives
  • Co-Chair the facility's Neonatal Quality/Oversight & Operations Committee
  • Ensure compliance with benchmarks and standards for core neonatal functions
  • Monitor and manage strategic plans and deviations from those plans
  • Provide leadership and training to team members
  • Establish departmental quality objectives and benchmarks
  • Participate in ongoing education and training for staff
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively

Required skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in neonatal nursing
  • Registered Nurse license in the state of employment
  • Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare professional education requirements
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and PowerPoint
