This role collaborates across Admissions. Student Affairs, and external partners to strengthen pathway programs, enhance community engagement, and promote access to medical education, with a particular focus on West Virginia and rural populations.Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean of Admissions, Advising & Student Life, this position manages outreach and recruitment initiatives, strengthens Institutional recruitment pathways, supports medical student affinity organizations. assists in securing external funding lo sustain and expand pathway programming, and manages the division's regulatory compliance with the institutional Review Board (IRB).Work EnvironmentThis position is primarily office-based with regular travel for recruitment activities. Evening and weekend work may be required to support outreach events, recruitment activities, and student programming.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & OutreachDevelop & coordinate recruitment outreach initiative aligned with the School of Medicine prioritiesSupport the Admissions office with applicant engagement and recruitment programmingConduct recruitment travel in-state and out-of-state to colleges, universities, and professional conferencesBuild and maintain partnerships with pre-health advisors, educational institutions, and community organizationsRepresent the School of Medicine at recruitment events, fairs, and community engagementsSupport initiatives that promote awareness of careers in medicine, particularly among underserved populationsAssist with the development of presentations and recruitment materialsTrack and report recruitment engagement metrics and outcomesPathway Program OversightDesign, implement, and evaluate pathway programs aligned with institutional missionCoordinate summer enrichment programs, workshops, and pre-medical development initiativesTrack part
