Overview

The Institute of International Education (IIE) is looking for a Program Lead to manage the U.S. Creative Tech Exchange, a program aimed at fostering skills and leadership in cutting-edge fields by bringing together U.S. and international creative technologists. This role involves overseeing various program activities, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring successful program implementation across its lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Director in program implementation and performance management
  • Design and oversee program activities including content development, recruitment, and participant programming
  • Establish workflow systems and standard operating procedures
  • Lead procurement and partner management for program components
  • Develop and execute outreach and recruitment plans for participants
  • Cultivate relationships with private sector partners for mentorship and placements
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to organizational learning
  • Support monitoring and evaluation strategies for program reporting

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in international exchange, higher education, or workforce development
  • Subject matter expertise in creative technology
  • Understanding of international exchange programs and U.S. Public Diplomacy initiatives
  • Experience in event planning and curriculum development
  • Strong communication skills

  • Financial literacy and budget management
