Overview

UCHealth is seeking a Program Director Magnet to develop and oversee strategies for the Magnet Program, aiming to achieve and sustain institutional Magnet designation. This full-time role requires managing project implementation, preparation of annual budgets, and collaboration with nursing leadership to enhance program evaluation and effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan the delivery of the Magnet program in accordance with organizational goals
  • Develop the program evaluation framework to identify strengths and improvement areas
  • Manage project implementation to meet goals while controlling resources and risks
  • Prepare and track the annual operating budget for the Magnet program
  • Assist in survey planning, administration, analysis, and evaluation
  • Collaborate with nursing management to develop strategies for addressing deficient areas

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • 2 years of clinical experience
  • BLS certification
  • Project management skills
  • Critical thinking and decisive judgment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
