Overview

Sentara Health is seeking a Program Director for Cyber Execution & Operations to join their Cyber Security team. This remote position involves contributing to the cyber security portfolio, ensuring rigorous program execution, and collaborating with various teams within the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Interface with Cyber, IT, and business teams to build a strong personal brand.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee programs and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively regarding program and individual work item statuses.
  • Document and maintain essential processes and procedures for the Office of the CISO.
  • Prepare and facilitate meetings, including agendas and follow-up communications.
  • Identify reporting needs and work collaboratively to address them.
  • Manage budget-related activities such as forecasting and invoicing.
  • Coach and train cyber staff in operational best practices.

Required skills

  • 8+ years of relevant experience or 10+ years without a degree
  • Project Portfolio Management (PPM) certification or similar required
  • Cyber security work experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in a highly regulated environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Agile and product methodology experience
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of management
  • Ability to translate data into meaningful insights
