Overview

J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking a Professional Transportation Engineer (P.E.) to join their team in Twin Falls or Meridian, Idaho. The role involves working within the Transportation Services Group on a variety of transportation projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with design teams in the planning, design, construction, and permitting of transportation projects.
  • Collaborate with traffic and structural engineers to deliver comprehensive project packages.
  • Operate CAD software (OpenRoads Designer and/or Civil 3D) for producing alignments, models, and plans.
  • Analyze engineering data and produce final engineering documents including plans and specifications.
  • Assist in business development and proposal preparation while maintaining client relationships.
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Attend meetings and participate in public discussions regarding project details.
  • Perform fieldwork including construction observation and project reconnaissance.
  • Supervise and mentor support staff on assigned projects.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), preferably in Idaho
  • 5-10 years of transportation engineering experience
  • Experience with OpenRoads Designer and/or Civil 3D
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
