J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking a Senior Professional Mining Engineer to work in their Reno, Nevada office. The role involves providing engineering design and project management services, particularly in mine permitting and design, while fostering strong client relationships and delivering quality projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide engineering design and project management services for mining projects.
  • Develop relationships and secure project work with clients.
  • Manage client projects and ensure responsive communication.
  • Direct geochemical analyses and design project components such as heap leach pads.
  • Prepare permitting applications for regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and public agencies on various projects.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Engineering Geology.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Technical background in mining engineering.
  • 7-20+ years of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel to mine sites and other offices.
