Overview

J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking a collaborative and solutions-oriented Professional Engineer to serve as a Project Manager or Program Manager in their Water/Wastewater Group located in La Grande, Oregon. This role focuses on project delivery, client relationships, and business development within a supportive and challenging work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead marketing and business development activities for water/wastewater engineering projects.
  • Develop and manage scopes of work, schedules, contracts, and design budgets.
  • Lead the development of proposals and manage interviews for potential projects.
  • Collaborate with technical staff including drafters, EIT's, and project engineers.
  • Manage the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure projects for local agencies.
  • Mentor staff and contribute to the growth of the team.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Current Oregon PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 15+ years of Water/Wastewater Engineering experience
  • 10+ years of licensure as a Professional Engineer
  • Experience with local public agency projects
  • Strong client-facing abilities and communication skills
  • Experience in business development and proposal management
  • Team collaboration skills
