Overview

J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking a Professional Engineer to join their Water/Wastewater Group as a Project Manager or Program Manager in La Grande, Oregon. This role will focus on project delivery, client relationships, and business development, contributing to the organization's goal of creating better communities through engineering services.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead marketing/business development activities for water/wastewater engineering pursuits.
  • Develop and manage scopes of work, schedules, contracts, and design budgets for projects.
  • Lead the development of proposals and interviews for potential projects.
  • Manage the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure designs for local water and wastewater projects.
  • Grow and mentor staff while developing market share and ensuring successful project delivery.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Current Oregon PE license or ability to obtain it within 6 months
  • 15 years of Water/Wastewater Engineering experience
  • 10+ years of licensure as a Professional Engineer
  • Experience with local public agencies
  • Strong client-facing abilities and business development experience
  • Ability to work in a team setting and manage project deliverables
  • Strong communication and writing skills
