Overview

J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking a Professional Engineer - Transportation Project Manager or Program Manager to join their Transportation Services Group in Kennewick, WA. The successful candidate will focus on project delivery, client relationships, and business development, contributing to J-U-B's mission of 'Helping Each Other Create Better Communities' while fostering a supportive and team-oriented work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead marketing and business development activities for transportation engineering pursuits
  • Develop and manage scopes of work, schedules, contracts, and design budgets for projects
  • Lead the development of proposals and interviews for potential projects
  • Manage planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure designs for transportation-related projects
  • Collaborate with technical staff, including drafters and project engineers
  • Grow and mentor staff while developing market share

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Current Washington PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 15+ years of Transportation Engineering experience
  • 10+ years of licensure as a Professional Engineer
  • Experience with local public agencies, WSDOT, or ITD
  • Strong client-facing abilities and communication skills
  • Business development experience through proposals and client relationships
  • Ability to work in a team setting and manage project deliverables
