Overview

As a Production Technician at Plastipak Packaging, you will operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines, ensuring smooth operations and product quality. The role offers structured training and mentorship while providing a stable work environment with predictable shifts.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines
  • Adjust machine settings for heat, cooling, and pressure as needed
  • Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance tasks
  • Check product quality to meet customer standards
  • Collaborate with shift team to solve problems and improve processes
  • Participate in on-the-job training and Plastipak Academy courses

Required skills

  • 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment
  • Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, or electromechanical systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
