Overview

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician to operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines in their Ada, Ohio facility. This role offers predictable schedules and opportunities for advancement in a stable manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines
  • Adjust machine settings for heat, cooling, and pressure
  • Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance
  • Check product quality to meet customer standards
  • Collaborate with team members to solve problems and enhance processes
  • Participate in on-the-job training and Plastipak Academy courses

Required skills

  • At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment
  • Mechanical problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with extrusion or blow molding equipment is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, or electromechanical systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
