Overview

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a Production Technician for their Worthington, Indiana facility. This role is integral to supporting agricultural production through various tasks including harvesting, quality control, and data collection, contributing to innovative advancements in the industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform harvesting activities including preparation, sorting, and drying
  • Conduct conditioning tasks such as sizing, packaging, and palletizing
  • Engage in quality analysis and control activities
  • Assist in field management and maintenance
  • Operate forklifts and manage warehousing activities
  • Gather data for continuous improvement projects
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Required skills

  • High School Diploma/GED or willingness to obtain GED
  • Comfort with technology and computer applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and practices
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Knowledge or experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or operations preferred
  • Familiarity with LEAN Manufacturing principles
