Overview

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician in Lima, Ohio. This role involves operating extrusion and blow-molding machines to ensure production efficiency in a stable, reliable industry, with an emphasis on quality control and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines
  • Adjust machine settings for heat, cooling, and pressure
  • Troubleshoot equipment and conduct basic maintenance
  • Check product quality to meet customer standards
  • Collaborate with shift team to solve problems and improve processes
  • Participate in on-the-job training and Plastipak Academy courses

Required skills

  • At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to solve mechanical problems
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, or electromechanical systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
