Job Description

Overview

The Production Technician I position at bioMerieux is responsible for operating high-speed equipment in the production and packaging of VITEK 2 cards while ensuring compliance with cGMP standards. This role involves setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment, as well as completing documentation and inspections related to production batches.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute production activities per approved Manufacturing Directions
  • Complete batch records accurately and timely
  • Execute validation protocols for manufacturing and packaging equipment
  • Assist in the review and revision of Manufacturing Directions and SOPs
  • Operate high-speed manufacturing equipment using HMI/SCADA interfaces
  • Engage in cage/rack movement and maintain product segregation
  • Follow departmental cleaning procedures for manufacturing areas
  • Setup high-speed manufacturing equipment to ensure timely product runs
  • Comply with safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with cGMP requirements

Required skills
