Overview

The Production Team Member at Pennsylvania Transformer Technology is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations within the facility through construction, processing, assembly, finishing, and quality inspection of components and products. The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and effective teamwork while providing on-the-job training for individuals without prior experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Operate manual and automated production equipment safely.
  • Move, stage, and handle materials and components using appropriate lifting equipment.
  • Assemble and finish components to meet quality standards.
  • Inspect finished work for defects and compliance with specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work and inspections.
  • Support other departments as directed by supervision.
  • Keep work area safe, neat, and clean.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
