CF&I Steel, L.P. is seeking a Production Supervisor for their Seamless Mill located in Pueblo, Colorado. This role involves leading teams, fostering innovation, and driving efficiency in production while ensuring high safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
Perform daily mill inspections for safety and productivity issues
Coordinate with mill support groups to implement improvements
Utilize LEAN manufacturing tools to enhance operations
Schedule and maintain shift manpower for operations and training
Onboard and train new employees, conducting performance evaluations
Manage operational and quality teams during manufacturing operations
Maintain inventory of mill supplies and interface with vendors
Correctly manage electronic and written records for performance and quality assurance
Maintain coaching documents for employee performance tracking
Review and approve employee timecards in the KRONOS Pay System
Required skills
Bachelors of Science Degree or equivalent experience
Three years of industrial supervisory experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Previous experience using Oracle
Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to motivate production teams for safety and quality
Initiative in identifying and proposing solutions
Comfortable with rotating schedules including holidays and weekends
