Overview

Rheo Engineering LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor for their second shift in Peoria, Illinois. This critical role involves leading the assembly team in an ISO 7 cleanroom environment, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their responsibilities and lead by example to cultivate a trusting and effective team dynamic.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide clear day-to-day direction to the shift team
  • Enforce ISO 7 cleanroom protocols and safety procedures
  • Ensure quality standards are met across all products
  • Oversee training of new team members on procedures
  • Align shift output with broader production goals
  • Participate in hiring and team member development
  • Recommend and enforce corrective actions as needed
  • Assist in assembly tasks when necessary
  • Serve as subject matter expert on production processes

Required skills

  • 3+ years as a Team Lead or Supervisor in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic computer proficiency and Microsoft Office skills
  • Familiarity with ERP software (Epicor Kinetic preferred)
  • Experience in a cleanroom or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of quality control processes
