Job Description

Overview

The Production Superintendent WOOD will oversee daily operations in a wood products manufacturing facility in Spokane, Washington. This role requires a hands-on leader who is experienced in manufacturing processes and dedicated to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead daily production activities focusing on safety, quality, scheduling, workflow, and shipping.
  • Maintain a safe, compliant work environment and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Recommend equipment and supply needs to ensure facility efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering on new projects and equipment upgrades.
  • Prepare safety meeting content and training materials.
  • Manage budgets and ensure alignment with plant goals.
  • Mentor supervisors and foster strong teamwork across departments.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, technical, quality, procurement, and environmental teams.
  • Champion continuous improvement and support positive change in the plant.
