Maintain a safe, compliant work environment and drive strong safety culture. Recommend equipment and supply needs to keep the facility efficient and uptodate. Partner with engineering on new projects and equipment upgrades; support capital requests. Prepare safety meeting content and training materials. Manage budgets for your areas and ensure alignment with plant goals. Mentor supervisors and build strong teamwork across departments. Coordinate closely with maintenance, technical, quality, procurement, and environmental teams. Champion continuous improvement and support positive change across the plant. Minimum requirements for this Production Superintendent role: Strong manufacturing knowledge and solid understanding of equipment and processes. Preference for at least 7 years of wood industry experience. Selfmotivated, organized, and skilled at communication and problemsolving.
