Production Superintendent Salary Up to $135,000 + Bonuses + Benefits in SE USA Were looking for a handson, practical leader who knows manufacturing and loves the rhythm of a woodproducts operation. If you enjoy solving real production challenges, developing people, and keeping a mill running safely and efficiently, this role is a great fit. As Production Superintendent, youll guide daily operations, support supervisors, and help drive continuous improvement across the plant. Job Responsibilities as the Production Superintendent: Lead daily production activities safety, quality, scheduling, workflow, and shipping. Maintain a safe, compliant work environment and drive strong safety culture. Recommend equipment and supply needs to keep the facility efficient and uptodate. Partner with engineering on new projects and equipment upgrades; support capital requests. Prepare safety meeting content and training materials. Manage budgets for your areas and ensure alignment with plant goals. Mentor supervisors and build strong teamwork across departments. Coordinate closely with maintenance, technical, quality, procurement, and environmental teams. Champion continuous improvement and support positive change across the plant. Minimum requirements for this Production Superintendent role: Strong manufacturing knowledge and solid understanding of equipment and processes. Preference for at least 7 years of wood industry experience. Selfmotivated, organized, and skilled at communication and problemsolving. Ability to work well with people at all levels and lead teams through growth and change. Working knowledge of accounting, purchasing, engineering, and employee relations.
