Job Description Summary This role involves reviewing product quality related to the manufacturing process, directly impacting individual work and the work of team members. The position requires executing standard operational and technical tasks, generally following established instructions and routines. There is flexibility to adjust the task sequence as needed to adapt to changing work conditions. Job Description Roles and ResponsibilitiesOwnership encompasses both quality assurance and quality control for products and services Create and maintain essential quality documents such as control plans (CP), inspection sheets, standardized work instructions, and knowledgeable with process failure mode & effects analysis (PFMEA).Applies specialized knowledge of technical discipline to implement policies and strategies, often supporting roles in technical fields, while continuing to build advanced expertiseUses a solid understanding of key business drivers to effectively complete tasks and contribute to team objectives. Demonstrates a clear understanding of how individual and team work integrates with other teams to support overall business goals.Solves technical issues within established procedures using sound judgement;. consults with senior team members for guidance on issues outside of standard parameters. Possesses strong interpersonal skills and may guide junior team members; in customer-facing roles, builds solid relationships and acts as the primary interface between the customer and GE.Communicates technical information clearly to team members and stakeholders.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Quality, Continuous Improvement) Minimum of 2 years of experience in production quality. Eligibility Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.Relocation available within the US.Desired CharacteristicsAbility to use systematic approach to problem solve. (i.e., 8-D, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), component swap, design of experiments (DOE), PDCA, and cause-and-effect diagram to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence)Knowledgeable with GD&T and print reading.Knowledgeable with measurement systems analysis (MSA) tools such as Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (GRR).Knowledgeable with process assessment tools such as SPC & capability indices. Ability to interact with others in a cross functional and inter-departmental capacity. At least 1 year of leadership leading teams or projects effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with ability to convey information clearly and inspire a team.Ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions.Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and willingness to learn and grow.
