Job Description

Overview

Cargill is looking for a Production Operator to join their team in Morrisonville, New York. This role involves operating various equipment and technology tools within the facility while ensuring product quality and adherence to safety policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate equipment and technology tools, including mixers, batching, mills, grinders, and packing machines
  • Collect product samples and supervise tank levels while using computer systems for data entry
  • Manufacture products to meet specifications and quality standards
  • Engage with peers and management for continuous improvement of operations
  • Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and loaders
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • 18 years or older
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal and written)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work overtime, including holidays and weekends
