Overview

Wagstaff Inc. is seeking a Production Manager for their Aluminum Division in Spokane, Washington. This role leads all fabrication operations, ensuring optimal efficiency, quality, and safety within the production environment while fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the fabrication team to ensure efficient workflow and product quality.
  • Oversee daily production operations, maximizing productivity and minimizing bottlenecks.
  • Implement solutions to enhance production processes and resource allocation.
  • Develop cross-training programs to create a flexible, multi-skilled workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with safety practices and relevant regulations.
  • Communicate effectively across shifts for continuity in operations.
  • Manage recruitment and performance activities for the production team.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
  • Understanding of welding processes and manufacturing techniques.
  • Experience with ERP systems and technical manufacturing knowledge.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently with sound judgment.
