Overview

As the Production Manager at Arcadia Beverage in Arden, North Carolina, you will oversee all aspects of filling and packaging operations in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with expertise in manufacturing operations, food safety compliance, and continuous improvement, tasked with achieving production targets while ensuring operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and meeting production targets
  • Monitor and improve changeover efficiency and sanitation processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on waste reduction and cost savings
  • Collaborate with supply chain, planning, and warehouse teams for effective production sequencing
  • Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain product quality
  • Uphold safety standards, providing ongoing training to ensure a safety-first culture
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate shift team members to foster a positive work environment

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a beverage manufacturing facility
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Proficient in production scheduling, labor planning, and workforce management
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in the food and beverage industry
  • Experience with production tracking and inventory management software
  • Strong problem-solving and operational decision-making abilities
