Overview

Carl Buddig & Company is seeking a Production Leader for the Raw Department on the 2nd shift in South Holland, IL. This role involves managing production functions to ensure safe and quality food products are manufactured in compliance with USDA guidelines, while also fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete production records and data entry as required.
  • Assist with changeovers and line clearance.
  • Oversee downtime clean-up activities.
  • Perform material handling duties within the department.
  • Coordinate replenishment of materials to meet operational schedules.
  • Achieve production goals and report standards to supervisors.
  • Audit work areas for compliance with procedures and documentation.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new and temporary associates.
  • Participate in start-up huddle meetings and problem resolution.
  • Sustain 5S standards through good housekeeping practices.
  • Utilize LEAN thinking to improve work processes.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and company policies.
