Overview

The Production Housekeeping- Temp role at Ace Hardware Corporation involves maintaining cleanliness and safety in the warehouse environment. This is a temporary position for July-August, focusing on cleaning tasks during the evening shift from Monday to Thursday.

Key responsibilities

  • Clean bag good aisles
  • Empty cardboard in the warehouse
  • Make bales and sweep/vacuum trash in assigned aisles
  • Pick up broken pallets, cardboard, and trash
  • Remove damaged products to the damage area
  • Maintain and clean stairwells
  • Shovel snow and put out ice melt during inclement weather
  • Clean bathrooms, office area, and breakroom
  • Empty trash cans
  • Order supplies for housekeeping
  • Sanitize door handles, handrails, and phones
  • Clean windows
  • Maintain a safe work environment

Required skills

  • Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours and shifts
  • Commitment to safety practices
