Overview

As a Production Hourly employee at Pilgrim's, you will play a crucial role in the processing of high-quality poultry products while prioritizing safety. This hands-on position requires you to work on the processing line, performing various tasks including cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspecting products to meet stringent food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Process poultry products according to USDA and Pilgrim's standards.
  • Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety and biosecurity guidelines.
  • Support team members by sharing skills and promoting a positive work atmosphere.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by performing different tasks in various production areas.

Required skills

  • Poultry or food industry experience (preferred)
  • Physical ability to work in cool temperatures and lift 50 lbs or more
