Job Description

Overview

As a Production Hourly team member at Pilgrim's, you will be integral to processing high-quality poultry products while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. This hands-on role involves working on the processing line and maintaining an organized work area in a fast-paced environment focused on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Process poultry products using tools and equipment according to USDA standards
  • Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area following safety and food safety guidelines
  • Support team members by sharing skills and knowledge to promote a positive work atmosphere
  • Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
  • Perform flexible duties across different areas of production as needed

Required skills

  • Ability to multitask and work quickly
  • Good communication skills
  • Understanding of simple instructions and common sense application
  • Team player mentality
  • Poultry or food industry experience preferred
  • Physical ability to stand, use hands for extended periods, and lift 50 lbs or more
