$30 to $35 hourlyHybrid in New York CityContractWe're looking for a Production Coordinator, supporting official brand social media channels across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for supporting production efforts on hundreds of content projects from conception through execution and evaluation. This person should be passionate about social media and digital content. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and has a demonstrated ability to work with global teams to create daily social content for international audiences. Additionally, this individual should have experience collaborating with creative teams, working across varied media formats, partnering with editors and animators, and possess strong communication skills and technical knowledge of social media platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the team with all elements of production, including:Help manage daily pre-production, production, and post-production deadlinesAssist producers with service agreements, purchase orders, licensing, and releases for projectsHelp the Production Manager track project estimates and expensesSupport the Production Manager in editorial calendaring, planning, and maintaining data accuracyReview budgets and production schedules, updating as needed while providing recommendations and rationale for changesUpdate team resources and documentationCoordinate content workflows with freelance partnersSupport transcription and translation services for projectsAssist with equipment and media shipping logisticsTrack equipment inventory and rentalsManage media organization and archivingConduct quality assurance reviews of final deliverablesPublish content across social media platformsSupport media and community operations workflowsRequirements4+ years of production experienceExperience coordinating production for editorial video content intended for social mediaExperience managing productions across multiple formats, including documentaries, short-form content, narrative projects, and branded contentFamiliarity with licensing requirements and collaborating with legal teams on contracts and agreementsExperience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneouslyExperience leading small to large-scale projects with cross-functional teamsExperience managing external creative and production partnersAbility to build strong working relationships across teams and functionsAbility to thrive in a self-directed, fast-paced, and evolving environmentAbility to communicate and uphold editorial standardsAbility to produce high-quality content with limited resourcesFamiliarity with social media platforms, creative tools, publishing platforms, and project management softwareJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.46/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
