Overview

As a Production Associate at Pilgrim's Pride, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality poultry products. This hands-on position involves working on the processing line, performing tasks such as cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspecting products in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes safety and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

  • Process poultry products using tools and equipment according to USDA and company standards
  • Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety and food safety guidelines
  • Support team members by sharing skills and promoting a positive work atmosphere
  • Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
  • Demonstrate flexibility by performing various tasks in different production areas

Required skills

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • Poultry or food industry experience is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and work quickly
  • Good communication skills and ability to comprehend simple instructions
  • Team player willing to work closely with others
  • Ability to work in cool temperatures and stand for 8-11 hours per day
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
