Job Description

Overview

The Production Associate at Clarios will be responsible for operating and monitoring automated shipping and decorating line equipment at the St. Joseph Distribution Center. This role involves ensuring product quality, performing minor repairs, and maintaining accurate production documentation while adhering to safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor automated shipping and decorating line equipment
  • Perform process and quality checks to ensure product meets customer specifications
  • Retrieve and follow specifications from the computer terminal
  • Remove process vents, decorate batteries, and reapply finish vents
  • Polish terminals and test quality using equipment such as Bitrode
  • Palletize batteries per customer requirements
  • Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Rotate through line positions to maintain production flow and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate production counts and documentation
  • Keep work area clean and support regular housekeeping

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 6+ months of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Comfortable working in hot environments
  • Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork
  • Ability to wear required PPE
