Overview

Avantor is seeking a Production Associate for an entry-level position in Sparks, Nevada. In this role, you will monitor and ensure the proper operation of the production process, perform container preparation, and assist with shipping and receiving activities. This position suits individuals who enjoy a hands-on work environment and are focused on safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and clean production equipment
  • Inspect products and monitor machines during production
  • Package finished goods and maintain accurate records
  • Follow safety procedures and keep work area clean and organized
  • Report equipment issues, material defects, or safety concerns to the supervisor
  • Meet production goals for quality and efficiency
  • Assist with inventory counts and general site maintenance
  • Support other tasks as needed

Required skills

  • Basic English skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to follow instructions and shift priorities quickly
  • Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
  • High school diploma or GED is a plus
  • OSHA Forklift and/or HAZMAT certification is a plus
  • Comfortable with documentation and simple math
  • Team player with a strong focus on safety and quality
  • Previous production or warehouse experience is a plus
